Sniper Guide

TYPES OF SNIPERS


There are many types of Status, each of them has their own special abilities,
Choose what suit you most.Personally,the most type that I used all the time
is the double strafing Sniper,since that's the most wicked sniper.

Double Strafing Sniper :
        STR 1
        AGI 99
        VIT 21
        INT 10
        DEX 99
        LUK 1

The most suitable type for me,since you can shoot your arrow     like MG42,most of character can't move until they died,except     if they are usingendure skill like knight.But,i will discover how     to beat them later.Note that this type can't stand long if You        get hit.So,be careful.

    AGI LUK Sniper :
        STR 1
        AGI 98
        VIT 30
        INT 45
        DEX 60
        LUK 50
    This type Rockz !! With This status,at least it will attack            about 1100 per hit.
    And the falcon will attack consecutively.With set of nice equip,This sniper is wicked !
    You should attack fast enough,with medium arrow damaged,while u enjoying your
    Nice High Damage From your Beloved falcon.So that's like a 3 way hit.
    I've done this type when i was a hunter,it is so difficult to build.But you
    will start enjoy it when your character reach level 80.Note that this type is
    incredible when you are hunting,but it's sadly that this type is poor when you
    put it into the PVP arena.

    Falcon Assault Sniper :
        STR 1
        AGI 1
        VIT 68
        INT 98
        DEX 74
        LUK 1
    This typed only depends from its INT ( for the damaged ).
    This typed is hard to kill,because they have a lot of HP,and this type is
    much on the Defense.And this type is quite good since FA does not
    look at the opponent's defense.But you have to remember about skill delay too.

    Hybrid Sniper :
        STR 1
        AGI 72
        VIT 50
        INT 45
        DEX 97
        LUK 1
    This type is very common,because this type have some damaged with FA,
    Nice damage with Double Strafe,and the Defense is not too bad,at least to avoid
    being stun too long.And you will get a nice ASPD too.

III. ARCHER SKILL TREE



 










Owl's Eye (10)Increases DEX at 1*skill level.

Vulture's Eye (10)
Increases attack range and HIT at 1*skill level.

Double Strafe (10)
Fire  2 arrows at once,Damage increases per level.Only 1 arrow consumed.

Arrow Shower  (10)
Shoots many arrows at an area hitting all enemies in that area (3x3 cells).
Enemies hit by the attack are pushed back 2 cells.

Improve Concentration (10)
Increases AGI and DEX for a skill duration.Detect hidden and cloaked
characters within 3x3 cells.

Charge Arrow (1)
Ranged attack at 150% ATK.Knocks back enemies six cells with an arrow.

Arrow Craft (1)
Allows you to create arrows from almost anything solid in the game.

IV. HUNTER SKILL TREE

















Beast Bane (10)
Increases damage done to a brute class monster.

Falcon Mastery (1)
Allows you to rent a falcon from the hunter's guild.

Blitz Beat (5)
Commands your falcon to attack an enemy.

Steel Crow (10)
Increases the damage of your falcon.

Detect (4)
Use falcon to detect hidden enemies and traps.

Spring Trap (5)
Use falcon to trigger installed trap.

Skid Trap (5)
It makes the enemy slide in the direction you are facing when
you laid the trap.

Land Mine (5)
A trap that deals damage when the enemy steps on it.

Ankle Snare (5)
A trap that prevents one enemy from moving when caught.

Flasher (5)
A trap that blinds the enemy that steps on it.

Shockwave Trap (5)
A trap that drains the sp of someone who stepped on it.

Sandman (5)
A trap that sends enemies to sleep.

Freezing Trap (5)
A trap that freezes enemies who step on it.

Blast Mine (5)
A trap that explodes automatically or when the enemy steps on it.
Claymore Trap  (5)
A trap that makes a tremendous explosion when enemies step on it.

Remove Trap
Enables you to remove traps that were laid.

Talkie Box (1)
Plays a recorded message you set if someone steps on it.

Phantasmic ArrowLaunches an illusion arrow from your bow.It has 150% ATK.Enemies that hit by
this attack will knocked back 3 cells.You can use this skill even you don't have
any arrow.

V. SNIPER SKILL TREE











Falcon Eyes (10)
Increase all your status by 5.Also increases your HIT by +3 per skill Lvl,damage by 2% per skill
level,CRIT rate by 1 per skill level.

Focused Arrow Strike (5)
Arrow attack that will affect enemy in a 3 cell wide corridor along its flight path up to its maximum
range of 14 cells.The corridor is a straight line between you and the target.And it will attack
the rest enemy within the corridor if you attack an enemy closer than 14 cells.
Falcon Assault (5)
Attack an enemy using your falcon with enormous power.Ignores enemies defense.
Wind Walk (10)
Your party ( including yourself ) will receive Flee and Movement upgrade.
It will not stack with any other Flee and Speed movement skills and items.

VI. EQUIPMENTS

    There are many types of equipment sets,but what i will write is sets of sniper equipment
that I know its greatness.And you know,You have to use them on the right places,or the effect
wouldn't work as we hope.

    SNIPER EQUIPMENT SET
        This is what I used all the time for PVP,and usually this set is feared in the server
by the drop rate item at 1x.
    Apple of Archer
    Binocular
    Tights + Anolian card
    Boots + Merman card
    Composite bow ( make it +10 ) + Hydra card *2,Skel Worker card and Cruiser card.
    Glove [1] + Alligator card.
    Glove [1] + Zerom card.
    Muffler + Dragon Tail Card

        This sets is called sniper set because it contains cards combo that
only benefit for snipers,which is Anolian,Merman,Cruiser,Alligator and Dragon Tail.
Combo effects :
    Inflict 20% more damage with Long Range Physical attack.
     AGI + 5
    DEX + 3
    Seeking Attack (which never miss its target) + 20%.

    Receive 5% more Experience Points from Brute monsters.
    Add a chance of auto casting 'Coma' on Brute monster when attacking.
   
    FALCON ASSAULT TYPE EQUIPMENT
       
For This type,there are no card combos to boost the attack.But,this is
The set of cards and equipments that slightly will increase your performance.

    Crown
    binoculars
    Tights + Marc Card
    Boots + Matyr Card
    Muffler + Raydric Card
    2 GLove [1] + 2 Zerom card
    Main Gauche ( Make it + 10 )+ 4 Fabre Card
    Guard + Thara frog card

        Remember,this equipments only useful when you try to attack the target with FA.
Dont even attempt a Double Strafe skill or it will be crappy.Try to be fast for changing
better equipments for Double Strafe or normal attacks if you want to use it.
    AGI LUK EQUIPMENT
        This set of equipment is designed to prove your falcon auto blizt beat.
I really can't ensure you to use my recommended equipments.But,i suggest that
you should wear a bunny band,the rest is up to you.

    FEARSOME EQUIPMENT SET
       
This is it,this equipment is the best from all the set.But,notice that you will have some
hard time to complete this set.Even you are playing in the server at the drop rate of 3000x.
And,don't forget to forge it at least into +7 to make it Even GREAT !!
      
        Feather Beret or Alice Doll + Maya Purple or Ulle's Cap + Maya Purple
        Masquerede or Binoculars
        Sniping Suit + Ghostring Card or Sniping Suit + Angeling Card
        Tidal Shoes + Matyr Card
        Wool Scarf + Raydric Card or Wool Scarf + Deviling Card ( if you're up ONLY against a physical enemies )
        Orleans Glove + Zerom Card
        Orleans Glove + Zerom Card
        Composite Bow ( Make it +10) + Lord of Death Card*2,Stormy Knight*2
        or Composite Bow ( Make it +10) + Lord of Death Card*2,Stormy Knight,Valkyrie Randgris Card.
    This is what i am talking about from the beginning,with this set of equipment,your sniper will be
a King in the court.But remember,keep your distance between you and your enemy,since you only have a little amount of defense.
VI. SNIPER'S ADVANTAGE

           
This is what Snipers can do in WOE :

       
1.Sniping :  Attack enemies with DS or just with normal attack.Use DS to jobs such as Ass X,Champion,High Wizzard.If installed Lord of Death to your Bow,use normal attacks to Jobs with Bunch of Defense such as Paladin,Lord Knight,HP.

    2.Trap : Use your ankle snare around the Emperium,and Don't forget to use your Shockwave trap,because it will be deadly for HW.

    3.Status effect : You know,use your numbers of arrow like curse arrow,flash arrow,mute arrow,etc.

    4.Wizzard supporter : these Sniper use wind arrow and breaks frost enemy in a running SG this is what makes being in an SG so painful,getting hit by SG with 2000++ damage,getting frost,then getting hit by an element SS for 5000++ then get frost back by SG.

    5.Attacking Sniper : Use FA to a character that inflicted by Lex Aeterna so they will be eat at least 11k+++ damage.

    6.usually Sniper are for defense,with their sniping skills and their various traps.

VI. SNIPER'S ENEMIES
Champion=
Yo can cancel asura by just locking them using normal shots.pneuma won't save against those status arrows.

High Wizard=
Use your double strafe as many as you can,they won't last long.

Assasins =
Just detect them if they're hiding,and quickly DS them.Their defense are poor.

Ninja =
Easy,Just use your FA to them.If they're using cicada skin shed,target FA to the enemy
so they can hit the wall and they can't dodge your attack anymore.

If you fight a VIT character,You have to use your Lord of Death Card*2,Stormy Knight*2 bow,so those character
will be Nothing.

MVP Strategy

How to MVP Valkyrie ?


Now the character required is

• 1 Champion
• 1 Scholar
• 1 Ministrel
• 1 Paladin
• 3 Biochemist
• 3 High Priest

Now HOW TO KILL THE VALKYRIE ?

1. The Whole party must walk at the right formation so the Valkyrie wouldn't kill you
Champion is work as a tanker and must have an equip like this

~ Armor with Angeling Card
~ Guard with Alice Card

and have some vit and must have the Steel body Skill

because the Champion is going to be the tanker
When you're meeting the Valkyrie fastly make a safety wall and the Champion go into it
An the whole party is on the Land Protector

Remember don't forget to do Land Protector because the Valkyrie will make the whole party die using their Earthquake skill

Paladin job's is to give devotion to the Champion
High Priest job's is to Assumptio the Champion when it dispelled , Heal the Paladin , give Safety Wall to the Champion , do Lex Aeterna to the Valkyrie
Scholar job's is to give Safety Wall to the Tanker and Land Protector to the party
Biochemist job's is to Spamming Acid Demonstration to the Valkyrie and give Chemical Protection - Armor to the Champion so it can tank with Angeling Card
Ministrel job's is to give Poem of Bragi so all the party skill at the Land Protector will be no delay
Champion job's only Tank the attack from Valkyrie ( With Angeling Card , Alice Card , Assumptio ) it will receive damage less than 600 per hit from Valkyrie Randgris

When the Buff is Ended because of Valkyrie Using dispel on the Champion
High Priest must fastly cast Assumptio on the Champion
Paladin must do Devotion too

For the Champion Equip i suggest this :
Goibne Helm
Armor ( Angeling Card )
Tidal Shoes ( Matyr )
Wool Scarf ( Raydric )
Mace
Buckler ( Alice Card )
Necklace ( Spore Card )


How to MVP Ifrit ?


Now the character required is

• 1 Scholar Land Protector
• 1 Ministrel Bragi's
• 1 Paladin Set MVP Card
• 2 Biochemist With Bazerald
• 3 High Priest
• 1 High Wizard with Ice Wall Skill

Before Ifrit MVP I suggest you to clear the monster around the Ifrit because it's will bugged you or can make you failed to do Ifrit MVP

First the Paladin will be the tanker , when the Ifrit Attacking the Paladin the High Wizard do ice wall so the Paladin and the Ifrit will be holded in a spot
Scholar do Land Protector and make sure the whole party and the tanker is in the Land Protector
And the Ministrel use Bragi's Poem and the Biochemist is Spamming Acid to the Ifrit


The equip for Paladin Should be
Goibne Helm
Fire Element's Armor or Armor of Ifrit
Buckler with Alice Card
Tidal Shoes with Matyr Card
Wool Scarf with jakk Card
2 Necklace with Spore

and make sure the Paladin have high vitality




How to MVP Thanatos ?



Now the character required is

• 1 Champion
• 3 Sniper
• 2 Biochemist
• 2 High Priest

Before MVP Thanatos you must complete the quest to the 13rd Floor and you must have the fragment for the summoning

Be Careful because before the Sign closed , the monster will be spawned. It will not too hard when the Champion with Steel Body and Alice Card is go first
and the whole party waiting behind him

Biochemist job's is to do Acid Demonstration to the Odium of Thanatos when it's berserk
Sniper job's is to Double Strafing the other monster

After attacking Thanatos with "Double Strafe" , he's going to berserk like Odium of Thanatos and the Double Strafe would be useless for now
And now the Biochemist can do Acid Demonstration to the Thanatos ( berserk mode ) and just do that until the Thanatos die

guides are nice but few defects dude!! trust me ! in Valkyrie randgris mvp!! only paladins can tank.dispell will remove champs steel body then the champ will die. and the valks will change target to other party members. this will be a total waste. and never use alice for such MVPs
alice card gives 40% lesss from boss and 40% more from mob.hence randgris will hit paladin of 700-1000 dmg and its mob will hit paladin 2000-2500 dmg. so alice is useless. use a anubis card for long lasting tanking.soul destroyer sinX with cursed waters kills valk faster than acid demonstrations.1 high priest will be for chain lex aterna.and 1 professor for soulchangeing the sinX.




IFRIT MVP

champ can tank this but not better than a pally.use a penomena coz ifrit ,kasa and salamander are all formeless monsters.using alice here will result in reduced dmg from ifrit but will end in dying in 1 sonic blow of salamander or 1 spiral pierce of kasa. so better use penomena bragi to bio chemists and they will pwn ifrit in 30 mins.


Thanatos MVP
this is a good guide but dude stop trusting on champion so much.a pally is better tanker.and more then snipers 2 high wizzies with bragi can own thanatos in a safe and easy way.so can snipers DS continuos DS will result in thana dying in 10-15 mins

2nd Trans job Reviews + Guides

Lord Knight
Lord Knight is very good for Tank some damage because it has skill Parrying that can 50% dodge attacks from other jobs ( melee and physical attack )

And their skill can use for support

Provoke for reducing the damage of the enemy
Bash + Bowling bash such a good combo
Spear Stab + Pierce / Spiral Pierce is good combo too

The good build should be
Vit : For Tank the attack of some player
Dex : So the attack won't be miss
Ste : To get some damage when spamming bash + bowling bash



Paladin
Paladin are useful to tank some attack from other player , and they have devotion to protect the party.And they've their specialty ( Matyr Reckoning )

And their skill can use for support + attack

Provoke for reducing the defend of the enemy
Matyr Reckoning it's very great damage on enemy that don't use ghostring / deviling card
Devotion protect the ally from attack from other player
Pressure to half the SP of some Champions ( Half their "ACE" ( Asura Strike ) )

The good build should be
Vit : To tank some damage and high damage for Matyr Reckoning
Agi : To have a big flee and high speed Matyr Reckoning
Dex : Have their Pressure can cast faster



High Priest
Maybe some people think they're only useful for supporting , but for me they could be a killer , supporting , and tank some damage

And their skill can use support and attack

Lex Devina High Wizard are very hate this
Lex Aetherna 2x damage = Chaotic Attack
Assumptio 1/2 Damage Receive = LOL
Holy Light it's pretty good y know ( with spirit )
Aspersio Use Angeling card and do Aspersio to melee type ( can stuck element ) skill , they can't attack you

The good build should be
Vit : To tank some damage
Int : To have a big Holy Light Damage and keep their SP
Dex : Important for high speed cast time



Champion
They're a good killer because of their body relocation and asura strike attack

And their skill can use for Attack

Ashura Strike One hit = DIE
Body Relocation Ashura + Run Away = GODLIKE


The good build should be
Str : To increase the damage of Ashura so they can be one hit
Vit : To tank some damage then Asura
Int : To increase the damage of Ashura so they can be one hit
Dex : Important for high speed cast time

If the max lv is 99 the stat's should be like this :
Str 40
Vit 75
Dex 99

And the rest to int




Assasin Cross
They're very good killer ( EDP + Sonic blow )

And their skill can use for Attack

Sonic Blow One hit = DIE
EDP Sonic blow damage times 2
Cloaking Sonic blow + Cloaking = GODLIKE
Grimtooth To attack Wizard / Profesor that use Safety Wall
HIding When a Wizard / Some job cast Skill on you use this skill and the skill will be failed

The good build should be
Str : To increase the damage of Sonic Blow
Agi : The have big aspd for their Grimtooth
Dex : Important for no miss Sonic Blow

If the max lv is 99 the stat's should be like this :
Str 99
Dex 99

The Rest to agility



Stalker
They're a good runner + Full Strip that make your enemy so bugged

Chase Walk Can't be Sighted
Full Strip No equip = Die
Hiding When a Wizard / Some job cast Skill on you use this skill and the skill will be failed

The good build should be
Dex & Luk to increase the chance of Full Strip
Agi to have a big flee


WhiteSmith
They've high element resist + Their termination are so deadly with their Demon Speed

Cart Boost High mspd
Full Adrenaline Rush Demon Speed
Cart Termination They've low delay and big damage.. it's very killing

The good build should be
Str 99
Dex 40

Stalker

Setting server(just owner)

This Tutorial to show you how to :

• Change Exp / Job Rate
• Change Item
• Change the drop of Old Card Album , Old Blue Box , etc.
• Change the Skill Delay


Change Exp / Job Rate

First go to : C:\Stable Pack 14238\conf\battle\exp.conf

look at the base_exp_rate : 100

it's mean the exp rate was 100% now.. change it to your desire.. ( e.g : you want to change it to 300x , 300x means 30000% right ? ( 30000 divided by 100 ).

Then change it to base_exp_rate : 30000

to change the job rate do the same thing :)


Change Item drop

There's 2 choice about changing this
You want to change only the drop rate of one item or all item
If you want to change the drop rate of all item open it at ( E:\Stable Pack 14238\conf\battle\drops.conf )

and change it..

if you want to change only a drop of an item..
go to ( E:\Stable Pack 14238\db\item_db.txt )
We're taking an example by changing the drop of Red_Potion

How To Make Guild Emblem

If you're reluctant and only want to download it searching on google

If you want to learn how to make it yourself follow this steps

1. You must have Adobe Photoshop / Firework to adjust the pixel of the emblem you want to make

2. Open the program ( firework / photoshop ) an adjust it 24x24 pixel

3. And create the emblem with that size and save it as .bmp files
or if the program doesnt't support the .bmp file save , save it with .jpg instead..
And open it with paint program then save again with .bmp files..

4. Copy the emblem you've make ( .bmp ) to your Ragnarok Client Folder ( Gravity/Ragnarok/Emblem ) If the folder doesn't exist just make it

5. Then login to your Ragnarok Online.. And see your guild ( Alt + G ) With the master of guild's character then choose the emblem..
It's should be chooseable now and just click it !

How to make emblem with the transperant background ?
Simply open your firework , then choose the transparent background and change the BG COLOR with this hex : Red:255/Green:0/Blue:255.

Very useful for putting trap at the front during the breaker are trying to break the emperium so the attacker of other guild.



High Priest

Very useful to do aspersio to the breaker of enemy's guild and to put the safety wall on emperium also supporting the Defender of emperium and to heal the emperium.



Assasin Cross

The main job for break the emperium.. They can go to emperium withour notice using Cloak also they can use double dagger that have major damage.




Lord Knight

Very useful for break too because it's can caught the other breaker using it charge attack.Not like Assasin Cross Lord Knights damage's aren't too big ,but their defend are pretty good.



Scholar


The most important job for defend.. They can spider web the breaker so the breaker won't move.. Also they can do Land Protector so the Defend team can survive from area attack..




Stalker

Very useful when they're the master of the guild.. They can run into the emperium fast ( with spirit and speed potion ) and without notice also they can survive some attack by using hiding skill.. when they near the emperium use Emergency Call and destroy the emperium..




Biochemist

Useful for breaking enemy armor by spamming their Acid Demonstration and do some FCP to the guild's member..




Champion

Useful for defend.. because they can use their one hit skill : ASURA STRIKE





The other job maybe useful but the job's that most used are these jobs..

Changing Ragnarok BGM

Tired of hearing some song at ragnarok ? wanna change it ? follow this step..

1. Search for the music that you wanna change at the BGM folder at Client folder..

2. Copy it ( for backup ) to the ragnarok main folder..

3. Pick a music you want to replace with..

4. Change the name of your music into the name of music that you wanna replace ( e.g : prontera theme song so change the name of music to "08" )

then copy to BGM Folder , replace it..

run your ragnarok client.. the music should be changed by now.

How To Use Radex Packet Editor(RPE)

open the Redox Packet Editor ( Skull Icon ) Then Click> Open Processes > Choose your RO Client ( keep the parameter blank)

Your RO Client's name will be added at the top of rPE window
Back to rPE with Alt + Tab

Choose Extras > Filter > Custom Filter
There will be a window with some codes poped-up
Choose File > Load.At the rPE folder you extract choose skill you want to spam
After you open it Click build

Okay, now for the guide. Here is how it is going to work: I'll start
with the major, class specific combos (Class specific combos feature
some effects that will only work if worn by the said class), then I'll
cover the minor combos (the ones that only use 2-3cards). I'll begin
each combo with the combo's name, then the cards included (and also
which type of equipment they compound on) and then I'll follow that
up by listing all the wonderful effects that the combo bestows upon
it's user. Finally, I'll provide a description of the major combos and
what builds/classes I reccomend for them. Shouldn't be too complicated.

Description: This combo is a must have for dex/agi Snipers. The
additional 20% damage, along with the dex, agility, and flee
boosts really help. If you have a decent about of luk, you'll also
be dealing better damage with crits. The HP/SP recovory bonuses
are wonderful as well. The only downside to this combo, in my
opinion is the auto-casting Improve Concentration more than half
of the time that you ever recieve damage, and that can eat up your
sp. A great combo overall, though.

Description: If you are a critical assassin, then this combo is for
you. In addition to the extra 20% damage, the added attack speed, str,
crit, and agi will really help you do dish out the damage quickly. You
never know when that auto cloaking could save you. You'll be able to
venom dust all you want without having to worry about red gemstones.
The 20 flee is just as good as a whipser, and the extra 5 perfect
dodge adds an extra 5% chance for the opponent to miss you. This is a
great combo.

Description: Not a bad combo for any build of Wizard/Sage. You won't
need a phen card, bloody butterfly takes care of that, and you'll
also be able to cast faster than the people who use phen's. The extra
HP/SP never hurt, and 6 DEF is great from cards, not to mention the
20% resistance against nuetral attacks (That's just like a raydric
right there!) . Various damage bonuses help out along with the extra
3% matk. Not a bad combo, especially since it works with so many
builds.

Description: In my opinion, this combo isn't all that great. The HP
bonuses and the 10 str are not bad at all, but those are pretty much
the only great things about this combo. Get it if you want, but I
wouldn't reccomend it.

Description: Another combo that is not too great, although it is
not as crappy as the Swordsman one. 13 luk can help out with
forging, and you never know when an OPB or gift box will pop up.
Regaining one sp with each attack helps a lot if you are a battle
smith. If you had a Two Handed Axe[2] and two Zipper bear cards,
the sp effects would cancel eachother out, but you would have a
whopping extra 60 attack added, and that combined with the Master
Smith's 'Power Thrust Max' Skill can really deal some damage.

wont even have to manually heal yourself when you take damage!

Make a blank ID then set the config of you're openkore like this
